History books will look down on this period of political unrest.
The Democrat Party has for years weaponized multiple federal agencies against their political opponents, notably Donald Trump and his former officials.
The Jan. 6 House Select Committee is but the latest example of how liberals (both Democrats and Republicans) are willing to manipulate and exploit their position of power to take down political enemies in the most brutal and systematic way possible.
Members of the committee have essentially acted as a law enforcement agency. They’ve issued subpoenas against Trump’s inner circle (even his family) in an attempt to extract any piece of information to later use against the America First movement. If subpoenas are ignored, or if Trump officials refuse to submit, the DOJ immediately issues contempt of Congress charges.
How is this acceptable under the separation of powers clause of the U.S. Constitution?
Peter Navarro became the Committee’s latest target as he refused to follow a subpoena from the House Select Committee investigating the events leading up to the Jan. 6 protests. Navarro cited executive privilege as his reason to avoid producing documents.
The arrest came on Friday after Biden’s Department of Justice charged Navarro with criminal contempt of Congress.
The House committee referred this contempt of Congress charge to Biden’s DOJ in March. On Friday, the DOJ decided to take up the referral.
The timing for Navarro’s arrest was questioned by many conservatives.
Just a day prior, the former Trump official appeared on MSNBC to discuss a recent lawsuit he filed against the Jan. 6 Committee. Navarro alleges that the Witch Hunt Committee is violating the separation of powers clause of the U.S. Constitution by acting a law enforcement agency.
Navarro went on to tell the MSNBC audience that he vows to “lead the charge” in seeking retribution against Joe Biden and top Democrats for the way in which they weaponized federal law enforcement agents to attack political opponents.
The former Trump official claimed he will “start with Biden’s impeachment” once Republicans win back majorities in both houses of Congress. All recent polling suggests a massive Red Tsunami come November.

Just one day after this appearance, FBI arrested Navarro as he was on his way to Nashville, Tennessee, for a television appearance. Just as he was about to board a plane, the FBI placed him in handcuffs.

He was taken to jail and has already made his first court appearance.
During that court appearance, Navarro alleged that the DOJ “colluded” with the White House and Congress. Navarro further alleged that the prosecution is acting in “bad faith.” Accordingly, Navarro argued that his case “needs to get to the Supreme Court.”
Navarro’s arrest comes before the Witch Hunt Committee begins holding public show trials in an effort to convince the American people that big, bad Republicans are guilty of an insurrection against democracy.
