Border Agents Rebel After Biden ‘Slaps Them In The Face’

America’s border agents are absolutely livid after President Joe Biden made the decision to help secure another country’s border – while America’s own southern border remains as vulnerable as ever.

Biden made the decision to help Tajikstan secure its border with Afghanistan via a project designed to make Tajikstan’s border troops more efficient.

The U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe on Wednesday announced the launch of a new project to construct facilities for a Border Service detachment along the Tajik-Afghan-Uzbek border, which will allow Tajikistan’s border troops to deploy more quickly in response to threats in the region.

Border sources who spoke with Fox News after the news broke of Biden’s plans to sure up the Tajikstan border say the administration’s priorities are misplaced.

“With the record setting pace of nearly a million encounters so far at the southern border, it’s heartening to see the Biden administration finally getting serious about border security. It’s just too bad it’s in another country,” one senior border official told Fox News.

“This is a slap in the face to us,” a border agent said.

Another border agent added: “Biden’s already destroyed Afghanistan so the borders don’t need to be open.”

All three border patrol sources spoke on condition of anonymity to avoid retribution.

While Biden continues to deploy his radical ‘America last’ agenda, hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants continue to pour over the U.S. southern border every month.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced in mid-August that 212,672 migrants were encountered at the southern border in July, a 13% increase over the already massive 188,000 migrant encounters in June. In July 2020, there were just 40,929 encounters.

Mayorkas emphasized at the time that 95,788 of those 212,000 encounters resulted in expulsions under Title 42 public health protections.

However, that number is lower than in June, when 104,907 migrants were removed under Title 42. He also said that 27% of those encountered had at least one prior encounter in the past 12 months.

The White House responded to these sources expressing the feeling of betrayal by President Biden, simply by pointing to comments made by Mayorkas last month where he said “the situation at the border is one of the toughest challenges we face.”

“It is complicated, changing, and involves vulnerable people at a time of a global pandemic. I want to provide information to you, the facts, the challenge we face and why, and our plan to meet the challenge. That is what we do: we confront challenges, and we meet them.”

Biden has made it clear his intention is to establish a wide open border and Mayorkas has assisted him in doing so by pretending to do his job – all the while worsening the situation.

Biden’s first acts in office were to cut down a number of highly effective Trump administration policies which helped to get the border in check after the former President inherited a disaster from former President Obama.

Every action the Democrats take makes one thing clear – they don’t care about the American citizens hurt by the radical policies they shove down our throats.
