Like a true liberal Stalinist, Jen Psaki failed to admit the potential danger behind a federal Disinformation Governance Board, but those of us with any working knowledge of history remain utterly concerned.
Fighting misinformation is easy. All you have to do is allow more information to circulate through the ether. What the Biden administration plans to do is more reminiscent of Hitler’s Germany or Stalin’s Russia — not the United States.
It’s an act of tyranny when those who define “misinformation” are the same people who are in charge of eradicating it. This allows for one administration to set the standard of allowable speech, thus completely violating what it means to be an American.
The White House on Thursday defended the newly announced Disinformation Governance Board that critics say will be led by someone with a history of making controversial and misleading statements.
Nina Jankowicz, who was a disinformation fellow at the Wilson Center and adviser to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry as part of the Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship, confirmed a report Wednesday that she has been named executive director of the Department of Homeland Security’s new panel.
She is a perpetual theater kid and a cringy addition to the federal government.

It’s become increasingly difficult to wrap one’s mind around the fact that this woman is now responsible for determining what constitutes “misinformation” online.
When pressed by a reporter about the situation, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said she needed to learn more about it but defended the board’s mission.
“It sounds like the objective of the board is to prevent disinformation and misinformation from traveling around the country in a range of communities,” Psaki said. “I’m not sure who opposes that effort.”

In other words, Psaki is saying: “We are the holders of the truth. The Governance Board is responsible for spreading that truth. Who in the world would oppose that?!”
Psaki may have learned this rhetorical trick from the Soviets.
The White House supports the disinformation board, Psaki added, citing disinformation that has circulated about COVID-19 and elections. The press secretary said she does not know who Jankowicz is.
Jankowicz previously cast doubt on the Hunter Biden laptop story while falsely claiming that an intelligence community report on foreign meddling referenced it. In particular, she played a key role in trying to shoot down reports by the New York Post about the contents of the laptop believed to have belonged to the younger Biden.
Basically, she’s a peddler of disinformation — but not the type of disinformation the current government opposes.
See how that works?
