The entirety of Biden’s cabinet, as well as the whole Democrat Party (and even some Republicans), are now on board with and are completely open about disarming law-abiding American citizens — including teachers.
A recent school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, was not enough for the Biden administration to even consider legislation that would allow teachers to arm themselves with a concealed weapon in the hopes of protecting themselves and their students.
Democrats have no problem exploiting dead children when it comes to chipping away at the Second Amendment, but when it comes to implementing effective life-saving measures, liberals could care less.
Such was the case on Thursday when Education Secretary Miguel Cardona claimed that arming teachers with concealed weapons was among the “stupidest proposals” to take from Republican lawmakers.
His argument, however, is what’s stupid.
Sec. Cardona argues that arming teachers would not be effective in quelling school shootings because sometimes teachers need time off, and guns cannot just be handed off to the substitute.
Cardona joined the incredibly fair and balanced ladies on ‘The View’ to discuss the Biden administration’s approach to tackling gun violence in schools. Co-host Sunny Hostin asked the Education Secretary, “In your view, do you support teachers carrying guns in the classroom?”
“Those are some of the stupidest proposals I’ve heard in all my time as an educator. So that’s my answer to that,” Cardona replied emphatically.

Stupid how? Stupid in the sense that an armed teacher could prevent a psychopathic gunman from murdering countless children? Stupid in the sense that armed school staff could deter a deranged individual from even committing a school shooting?
Doesn’t seem that stupid to anyone with two brain cells (or a political agenda to push.)
Cardona went on to argue that anyone who was in favor of arming teachers was “clueless when it comes to what’s happening in our schools” and was showing “further disrespect” to teachers.
This was the same administration that advocated for school closing for two years, leaving kids to flounder on their own with zero education. This is the same administration that supports injecting children with experimental vaccinations before they can return to school.
This is the administration that wants to kill your kid before it even leaves the womb.
